Temporary Backflow Stop for Sewer Lines

This TEMPORARY sewer backflow stop can be installed in as little as 5 minutes and save you  thousands of dollars in damage resulting from sewage back up into the home or business due to local flooding or potential sewer maintenance on the street.

Installation
This system is for 3" and 4" cleanout pipes.  This device is intended to be installed prior to emergency evacuation and requires you to know before hand where your sewer clean out pipe is, know how to remove the top cap and practice installing this device.  The air hose for the device is 12’6” long.

You will need to have available a bicycle tire pump to inflate the bladder that creates the seal.  Do not use an air compressor as it could cause the bladder to be over inflated and damage the bladder and or piping.

Removal
When local authorities inform you that the sewer system can be used again. 

The device can be removed as easily as it was installed by releasing the pressure in the bladder and pulling the device out and reinstalling the sewer cap.  This device should be removed before using any toilets, sinks, showers, tubs, washing machines or any other device that drains into the sewer line.
